Ask a question:

Images Not Showing

Solution If you are installing CPV Lab on an add-on domain, you may find that there are no images displayed on campaigns and other pages although you have all permissions properly set.

If this is the issue, you should check if your Cpanel Hotlink Protection is enabled or disabled.

Hotlink protection tool allows you to prevent other websites from directly linking to files on your website. This means that when another website is visited, it cannot load pictures from your pages - this is one of the ways for limiting the outbound traffic for your account. Another words, hotlink protection is one form of protection from from bandwidth theft.

An example of hotlinking is when someone creates a webpage and rather than hosting the image on their own server, calls the image from the path on your server, therefore incurring costs to you each time their website is displayed.

To get that sorted out, you can either disable hotlink protection or add the tracking domain URL to "Allowed URLs" list. Please note that you will need to add both the: "http://" and "http://www." prefixes when adding your domain to the "Allowed URLS" list.
